In Missouri, family caregivers can be paid through several Medicaid waiver programs that provide home and community-based services (HCBS). These waivers are designed to keep loved ones at home while offering financial support to caregivers.
To qualify, the person receiving care must have Medicaid, live in Missouri, and need help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or mobility.
