An assessment will be performed by Medicaid or your Health Plan professional to determine if you’re eligible for this program (called PCS in Nevada). You’ll find out how many weekly hours of care you can get.

This includes daily tasks like hygiene needs, housekeeping, medical care, and meal prepping. 

Also known as the family caregiver support program in Nevada, this type of program is a great way for seniors and individuals with disabilities or serious health concerns to remain in the comfort of their own homes while receiving the care that they need. With the PCS program in Nevada, a personal caregiver can get paid an hourly rate for assisting their loved one.

The Nevada Medicaid personal care services program gives you more control over your caregiving. If you are deemed eligible for this type of care, you can choose a close friend or family member to act as your caregiver, who will then be paid for their assistance.
