  • The Division of Aging Services (DAS) Programs and Services | Georgia Department of Human Services Division of Aging Services coordinates with other aging organizations to provide services to appropriately sustain older Georgians in their homes and communities. These services also provide support to family members and caregivers.
  • The Division of Aging Services (DAS) administers these programs through the Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs). Contact your local AAA for more information and to find out if the service is available in your region.

Cancer State Aid

  • The Cancer State Aid (CSA) Program was established in 1937 by the Georgia legislature at the request of Georgia physicians to reduce the burden and cost of cancer care for uninsured, under-insured, and low-income patients. For over 80 years, CSA has funded access to services for eligible patients diagnosed with cancer or conditions highly suspicious for cancer.

  • Crisis Services hotline

For immediate access to routine or crisis services, please call the Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) at 1-800-715-4225. GCAL, Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) | Georgia Collaborative, is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days (about 12 months) to help you or someone you care for in a crisis. GCAL professionals will:

  • Provide telephonic crisis intervention services
  • Dispatch mobile crisis teams
  • Assist individuals in finding an open crisis or detox bed across the State
  • Link individuals with urgent appointment services
